The University held the annual virtual prayers today July 23, 2020, at Taifa Hall. The prayers were officiated by Catholic father Kaigua, Protestant Chaplain, and Muslim Chaplain. The Vice-Chancellor Prof. Kiama was present and the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic Affairs. The annual prayers usually are held at the beginning of the year but due to COVID 19 pandemic, this year's prayers were carried forward to a favourable date which was today July 23, 2020.
Despite the challenges that are being felt worldwide the Almighty God has been on our side as the University of Nairobi fraternity and it is important that we give thanks and praise our maker. Even during this COVID 19 God has not forgotten us. We know that this far we have reached is because he loves us so much and we continue to praise and worship him. God is good all the time and all the time God is good. Our maker is able and He will continue powering His graces to us and providing our daily needs.
