HOW TO CONTROL THE SPREAD OF CORONA VIRUS AT WORK PLACES

Corona virus is a virus is an infectious disease caused by newly discovered coriona virus.  This virus was first discovered in China in December 2019 and so far it has spread to about 184 countries and territories.  It is a killer disease that we are cautioned to be careful with our routinely hygiene to combat this virus.  We have been informed to ensure that we keep social distance at least 2 metres away, wash hands frequently with running tap water, avoid hand shakes and use face masks in public places.  It is very important to note that as we continue with our routine work of filing documents, retrieving of documents for action, dispatching of files from one office to another, it is advisable that we use disposal hand gloves all the time we are working on our files.  These files before they reach the action officers, they would have passed through several hands and it is equally important that those hands are protect from the virus by being clean and covered with hand gloves.This information has not been announced to the public but it is important as a records manager pass this to you so that as we do all that the government has directed us to do we also prevent this spread as we work in our offices.  Records are the heart of the organization and no decision would be made without referring to those records.  Lets us keep our records safe and ourselves safe too.
