The University community is happy to have one of their staff appointed as a senior counsel by His excellence the president. Professor Mumma, a Ph.D. in Law holder from Cambridge University, Master of Law from Yale University, and Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Nairobi was conferred the rank of senior counsel alongside 24 other advocates including former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka.
This rank is one of the highest to be conferred and it is not easy to come by. Many work extremely hard to be awarded such an honour and it is important that we appreciate the effort that the professor of Law has put into it to be able to be conferred. As a University of Nairobi community, we wish him God's blessings as he embarks on his new job.
