How will Covid 19 Pandemic affect the University Admissions?

The Vice Chancellor, Professor Stephen Kiama, on Friday June 12, 2020 assured the students who are supposed to join the University of Nairobi in September this year that the admission process is ongoing and that Covid 19 has not put the process on hold.  He noted that the University of Nairobi is expecting to enrol about 5,000 students in the September intake and in case of any inquiries the Admission offices are open, with also the option of reaching the staff via the Telephone lines or visiting the admission website for more information on admissions as well.

The letters will be dispatched via the post offices box provided by the students during their application, immediately the process of admission is complete.  No student will be left unattended.  All the aspiring students should be informed that the University is handling their interests and that come September, they can join as planned.  The University is also working closely with the Ministry of Education to ensure that relevant precautions are in place before the University reopens to all the students, staff and stakeholders.  The University Management is concerned of the well being of all the students, staff and stakeholders and promises to deliver to its mandate.  God bless you all as you look forward to joining this premier University and thank you for making the University of Nairobi as your first choice Institution of learning
