UPDATE ON UNIVERSITY OPERATION

This is in reference to the Senate meeting held on Tuesday March 31, 2020 in connection with the current situation on the COVID -19 pandemic in Kenya and entire World.  The senators after along deliberations noted that the situation was unbearable and our dons are equally engaged in research to assist the government and other researchers on the way possible to get the medicine that could cure this contagious disease.

They resolved that all meetings would be held online

that the lectures to upload their contents and share with the students online

that those researching on the medicine to cure the pandemic disease to continue with the good work

That  those sensitizing  the members of the community on the COVID-19 to continue spreading the gospel so that all the people are aware and are able to practice social distancing and maintain the use of hand sanitizers and washing of hands before and after cooking, eating and visiting the washrooms with soap and running tap water..

In the senate meeting held on Friday, March 28, 2020  it had been resolved that those of us with chronic diseases  and are 58 years and above and are unable to report to work physically during this period of COVID-19 could take leave or work from home.  This is just a recap of  what is happening but as times goes by we pray to Almighty God for this pandemic to come to an end so that we could continue with our duties without fear.  God bless you all and let us continue with prayers. Our  God is in control.
