THE YOUTH FIGHT CORONA VIRUS

The Corona Virus has been with us since March 2020 to date.  It has spread all over the country and it has caused many people anxiety and panic wondering what to do next.  The young and the aged are all worried. Through this confusion, stress and worry that the pandemic has caused, the young activists and volunteers across the globe are generating ideas, energy and empathy, saving countless lives by distributing sanitizers and sensitising the the people on the best way to combat the spread of the virus further.

IMPACT OF COVID 19 ON EDUCATION

Covid 19 pandemic is a health crisis.  In Kenya it was first reported in March and since then the numbers keep increasing. This disruption by covid 19 has been deeply felt by all the families all over the world.  Most of the learning and teaching has been moved online but with the question in mind being whether families can afford this mode of e-learning. Families are struggling to put food on the table as most of them have lost their jobs and some are being paid half their salary.

UPDATE ON UNIVERSITY OPERATION

This is in reference to the Senate meeting held on Tuesday March 31, 2020 in connection with the current situation on the COVID -19 pandemic in Kenya and entire World.  The senators after along deliberations noted that the situation was unbearable and our dons are equally engaged in research to assist the government and other researchers on the way possible to get the medicine that could cure this contagious disease.

They resolved that all meetings would be held online 

that the lectures to upload their contents and share with the students online
