On Monday 13th May 2024,a section of staff members from the Administration Department Management hosted Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology for benchmarking on Health Workers Allowances.
A high level delegation drawn from the UoN is visiting Nyandarua county to assess status of infrastructure development and preparedness as preparations for establishment of Nyandarua University gains momentum.

The UoN on 26th March 2024 launched new ICT sytems. The event was graced by CS for ICT Mr.Eliud Owallo. In his welcoming remarks the Corporate Affairs Director Mr. Orindi stated that the UoN was going towards the right direction as far as digitization is concerned and is in tandem with the goverment's agenda on digitization.
University management and staff held a strategic plan validation workshop at the University of Nairobi Tower.
The UoN fraternity joined family and friends of the late Mrs Nancy Mwai on Thursday 15th February 2024 in the burial of the matriach at their family home in Muranga.
The University of Nairobi management and KRA team met on Thursday 15th February 2024 at the Press Room UoN towers to benchmark on best practices regarding National Cohesion and Values.
The UoN Management was represented by Director HR Ms. Jane Gatune,Deputy Registrar Industrial Relations Mr.Harrison Akala and Deputy Registrar Administration Mr.Kenneth Sawe among others .
The mass which was held at JKUAT Assembly Hall was attended by family,friends,JKUAT Staff where the late Nancy worked as well as the UoN fraternity.
The UoN was represented by Registrar Administration Mr. B. D. Njuguna. The Registrar speaking on behalf of the VC Prof Stephen Kiama described the late as a former school mate of Prof Kiama in Nakuru High School and very virtous lady.The VC expressed his condolence to the family on behalf of UoN,May Nancy Rest in Eternal Peace.
The meeting which was attended by all members was chaired by Mr.Harrison Akala and was aimed at analysing the 2022-2023 PC performance vis a vis what to improve on and help members understand what needs to be done to improve the departments performance.
It was also aimed at understanding Administration Department 2023-2024 strategic plan as approved by the Council.
