Today on June 5, 2020 at 10.00 a.m in Taifa Hall marked the event of swearing in of Professor S.G Kiama as the eighth Vice -Chancellor.  Present during the occasion was the chancellor Doctor Vijoo Rattansi, the Chair of the Council Professor Julia Ojiambo, members of the council, the Deputy Vice Chancellors and the former Vice -Chancellors of the University of Nairobi.  The event was held virtually due to covid 19 pandemic but still remained to be a cheerful event with congratulatory speeches from members of staff .  The event had been set to take place way before the announcement of the fi
