Sensitization/Training of staff in College of Architecture and Engineering on the Procedure for Control of Records

 Acting Records Manager on Friday November 8, 2019 sensitized/trained the College of Architecture and Engineering staff on the concept of Records Management by going through the Procedure for Control of Records, UON/OP/02.  This procedure is designed to cater for records of the university from the point of creation to the final stage of the records disposition.  During this period records are created/received, used, maintained and finally disposed of as Archives or destroyed for those without continuing value.  

The acting vice Chancellor Prof. Isaac Mbeche leads the way by singing the Performance Contract 2019/2020

The University of Nairobi Vice Chancellor, all the Deputy Vice Chancellors, College Principals, Deans and section heads converged at Central Catering Unit (CCU) to sign the Performance Contract 2019/2020.  The signing of the PC marks the commencing of work by the units to achieve the set goals by the end of June 2020.

SIGNING OF CBA 2017/2021

University staff have a reason to celebrate after the 2017-2021 Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) was signed on October 28, 2019 at jacaranda Hotel, Nairobi.

The signing ceremony between Inter Public Universities Council Consultative Forum (IPUCCF) and the three staff Unions UASU, KUSU and KUDHEIHA.  This was a historic CBA signed signed without industrial strike.

RECORDS MANAGERS TRAINING AT NAIROBI SAFARI CLUB

KCA University organized for a two day training for records managers at Nairobi Safari Club.  The training was well attended and the participants came from the public and private institutions.  The training tackled emerging trends in records management and how records managers are supposed to implement them in their working places.  At the end of the training the certificate of participation was issued to all the participants as evidence of participation and future reference. 

TRAINING OF RECORDS MANAGERS ON EMERGING TRENDS IN RECORDS MANAGEMENT AT NAIROBI SAFARI CLUB

KCA University organized a two day training for Records Managers at Nairobi Safari Club.  The participants came from public and private institutions.  The main objective of the training was to equip the Records Managers with knowledge on modern ways of keeping records.
